Honoured Butter Sculptor Linda Christensen who has sculpted all the Dairy Queens, and their courts, in butter, during the State Fair for the past 40 years.
Sculpted Linda as the Butter Queen. It’s very convincing, many asked us how we manage not to have the butter melt.

The tiara made the winter of COVID seem less dark.
We slowly drove it to the Mn State Fairgrounds.
The stainless steel tiara had many fans, over 180,000 people drove past it during the Glow Festival. It was later was re-commissioned by St. Paul’s Winter Carnival and thousands more had their chance to see it.
Of a time before COVID, the Butter Tiara made people happy.
In the summer of 2021, Alison Kirwin, the new owner of Al’s Breakfast, a Butter Queen herself, decided to give the Butter Tiara a new home.
It will sit on Al’s Breakfast roof top...a colourful place.
